A friend of mine came over to the house one day over the holidays, and took a bunch of photos of Shelly, Holly & I. He took some color, some black and whites, and even got fancy with a second flash & some lense variations. We hoped to get something worthy of a Christmas card out of the shots. Actually though, the majority of them turned out out awesome & we could not decide which one to have made into a card! So, for those of you who didn't get a card, our appologies. You can still see the photo along with all the others right here.

Christmas this year was a very special one indeed. Holly really caught on in her 2nd time around at this tradition. Without fully understanding what was happening prior to December 25th, she knew with confidence that Jesus's birthday was around the corner, and that some guy named Santa was coming. Shelly & I had been prepping her every since we put up the tree.

Well...time to begin some traditions. Holly is now getting old enough now to start archiving them. I'm sure that she will remember much more than we think. For starters though, we thought we would introduce the traditional holidays....

Off to Illinois to see my sister get married. Shelly, Holly & I had a great time. It was nice to see the all of my family and relatives. It's very hard being soo far away from everyone. Click Here to see the wedding pictures and some of our trip photos.

Sometime in late August, when the weather was still nice, we decided to go camping along the Poudre. It would be Holly's 3rd camping trip over-all, but her 1st this year, and her 1st as a toddler. I wish we wouldn't have waited so long into the season, as she had a great time. Well...for the most part...Camping in Poudre Canyon
